Sigils and Symbols
This is my
personal Seal - Sigil - Symbol or what ever you like to call it. All that it
means is that I came up with this design, and to me, it represents who I am,
is sort of like my name, just in a different form.
My personal Sigil base on my name
Actually my Sigil
is based on my christening Greek name, and I have used an old mystical
method to come-up with this design which is called Gematria.
In Gematria each
letter of the alphabet is represented with a number according to its
phonetic order. What I did was to found the numeric equivalent for the
letters in my name and write them down. Then if some letters have a two
digit number I added the two numbers so that all letters are represented
with a one digit number. The same I did with the numbers total to come up
with one final number which represents my name.
I then took a good close look of the symbols derived from this number,
isolate some parts, deleted some others, alter the shape of some else's
until it felts right and became mine.
There is no right
or wrong way to design your personal sigil as long as the final result feels
that is representing you. Use anything, meditate on it, use your favorite
colors, shapes, symbols or even animal shapes, anything. Let your intuition
guide you through this, listen to your feelings, look at what the shapes or
symbols are saying to you and you will have your personal Sigil.
